Chris Thom enjoys the unique range of challenges that healthcare architecture presents, and the combination of creative thinking, technical expertise and relationship skills required to deliver projects for his clients.
For Chris, his extensive experience and expertise in healthcare planning and design result from his more than two decades’ working almost exclusively in the sector, contributing to a number of international hospital projects as well as healthcare facilities in New Zealand.
As a Chow:Hill Principal, Chris is involved in a range of design projects, from large, complex new buildings to smaller refurbishments, and from master planning to the delivery of completed facilities. He has significant experience in fast-track complex projects and enjoys a collaborative, client-oriented process to deliver innovative projects on time and within budget.
Chris works closely with stakeholders of various healthcare facilities, developing, planning and detailing technical solutions to meet the specialist requirements this sector’s projects entail.
