Initially attracted to spatial design, Sara-Louise retrained as an architectural technician when she discovered how much she enjoyed the challenges of bringing together all components of a project.
Proficient in Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD along with several other programs, Sara -Louise loves drafting and modelling projects in the software. The fabrication aspect - how a project is constructed and how the design components can be resolved – has particular appeal, as does the opportunity to be an integral part of the team involved in a well-executed project.
Spaces that really engage people are a source of inspiration for Sara-Louise, for whom innovative and sustainable solutions that enrich the built environment are the ideal. Past work experience in the United Kingdom and New Zealand has also influenced her preference for paying meticulous attention to construction detail.
Away from the office, Sara-Louise finds relaxation in hiking, heading to the beach, or travelling.
