Inspired by the unusual forms that architecture can take, architectural graduate Reema Singh enjoys the continual learning that arises from every design project she embarks on.
Reema’s passion for architecture developed while watching her parents build their dream home. Seeing the enjoyment that arose from the process and end product, Reema has embarked on her career with a strong desire to create spaces that make people happy.
Underpinning Reema’s approach to design are the techniques of world-renowned architect, Zaha Hadid. Drawn to Hadid’s architectural forms as much as for the status she had as a woman of culture in the design field, Reema aspires to utilise the late architect’s innovative techniques, applying them to her design work.
Reema’s creativity extends beyond Chow:Hill’s Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau studio. She also applies her design skills to her cake baking and decorating business.
