Registered Architect, Philip Rutkiewicz may be adept at creating large projects but he’s just as inspired by the opportunities for small bespoke designs that create welcome surprises.
Experienced in architectural design, planning and project delivery, Philip initially wanted to study product design, until he realised architects are product designers too and there’s no limit to what they can design.
Trained in South Africa, Philip has exercised his creative flair in the corporate, commercial, healthcare and education sectors, leading design and planning with inter-disciplinary teams. Proficient in the use of ArchiCAD and Revit, Philip still believes a simple hand sketch can be the catalyst for a successful project.
Based in Chow:Hill’s Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau studio, Philip seeks inspiration from others, often finding the best ideas are right in front of him. As a senior architect, he is responsible for taking projects from conception to realisation and shaping experiences for clients.
