Registered Architect Mark Owens is committed to using design to enhance people’s daily experiences in the home, at work and in the public realm.
Mark has built a successful career by embracing every aspect of each brief, and collaborating with his clients, colleagues, consultants and contractors to create people-centred buildings that users can enjoy for many years.
His experience as an architect, both in New Zealand and England, has seen Mark lead a large number of projects across all sectors. His work with the Chow:Hill Hamilton/ Kirikiriroa studio has included Whakatane District Council Civic Centre remodel, Cambridge High School weather tightness Stage 1 and a number of commercial projects under development.
Mark’s dedication to shaping the experiences of all users of a project, from stakeholders to communities, has led to his continually exceeding the design expectations of his clients. Mark enjoys seeing the impact great design can have on people and the potential benefits innovative outcomes can have on generations to come.
