Being challenged to design spaces that will accommodate the continual change brought about by environmental and cultural influences inspires Jazmin Tufuga in her work as an Architectural Graduate at Chow:Hill.
A graduate of the University of Auckland, Jazmin is interested in the implementation of design strategies in spaces that improve an individual’s performance and connection to their surroundings.
Seeking inspiration from daily personal experiences allows Jazmin to understand what’s functional, what’s sustainable, and what will leave a positive aspect on herself and the environment. Jazmin also draws inspiration from precedent methods that illustrate characteristics still prevalent in architecture today.
Jazmin believes every project is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how designers create supporting environments and is looking forward to excelling in a workplace which evokes a sense of comfort and boosts cognitive learning.
Outside of Chow:Hill’s Auckland studio, Jazmin plays netball and enjoys outdoor activities, such as surfing and freedom camping – during summer!
