Fran Loader’s wide range of experience is shaping her design and creativity as a Registered Architect in Chow:Hill’s Kirikiriroa Studio.
Fran’s creative, collaborative, and thoughtful approach to project delivery and design development is founded in her trades background and a robust foundation in sustainable design, and complex remediation and refurbishment projects in the education, infrastructure, and commercial sectors. These skills were all critical in the successful completion of Westpac House lobby refurbishment and are increasingly finding their way into Waikato-based healthcare projects Fran is working on.
With a belief that architecture can be used to create meaningful experiences and moments in our everyday lives, Fran is passionate about adaptive reuse, particularly of industrial and heritage spaces. In her role as a Registered Architect in Chow:Hill's Kirikiriroa studio, Fran draws on experience gained through her diverse career history in both hemispheres to inform her design thinking and problem solving.
Fran also seeks inspiration from the natural and built environment around her, which is where she can be found outside of the studio. Fran is a keen rock climber, mountain biker, gardener and hiker, usually with the company of her heading dog, Marty.
