Chow:Hill’s Auckland studio was established in 1995, in response to the company’s growing reputation in health design. Our team’s expertise and application of innovative design principles in the health sector is reflected in our delivery of hospital and aged care facilities throughout the country.

Today our Tāmaki Makaurau studio is located in the heart of Newmarket and is a multidisciplinary design practice for Health, Residential Apartments, Aged Living, Commercial, Community, and Interior Design projects, with significant design experience in the discipline of Master Planning.

Delivering high-quality client service and design thinking from concept feasibility through to construction, Chow:Hill provides a collaborative and creative environment from which to shape rewarding design careers.

Meet the Auckland Team

Situated in Hamilton’s CBD, our Kirikiriroa studio boasts an exciting portfolio of projects across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne and beyond. Thirty years ago, the studio was home to a rental car business, but the only indication of the building’s former life is the now plentiful parking space for cars, EVs and bikes!

Meet the Hamilton Team

Chow:Hill’s Christchurch studio can be found but a few blocks from beautiful Hagley Park and the site of New Zealand’s largest ever public hospital project, Christchurch Hospital, Waipapa.

The world-class acute services facility is Chow:Hill’s most recently completed South Island project and has established new standards for health design.

From a vibrant central city studio location with a choice of local coffee shops close at hand, Chow:Hill’s talented Christchurch design team works across the South Island, while also actively collaborating on a wide range of design projects with our North Island colleagues.
